I don’t know how to express my simultaneous feelings of relief and shame at this sham ceasefire in Gaza, after all this death and suffering. This shouldn’t have happened. The genocide in Gaza has been broadcast live for two years, yet the world turned its back on its people. This ceasefire is merely the beginning of what will undoubtedly be a long struggle for a free Palestine and the return of its people. We must all remain hopeful, and more importantly, do more.
We all know how much Israel disrespects ceasefire agreements. They continue to terrorize Lebanon and they’ll continue to terrorize Palestine. Now more than ever eyes need to be on Gaza. The people there still need help and support. As humans we must create a world where we help each other.
In addition, the people of Gaza, both inside and outside the city, still need your support with fundraising campaigns.
