I live out my digital life here on my own site on the indieWeb, sharing out my content via Mastodon where I reside on social.lol, Bluesky and RSS.

In the real world I live in Burnley with my wife Vickie, our canine children bayLee, Stevie, Caoimhe, Fearghus, Leo, and Ruairidh, and a large flock of hens. Our vets probably hate my canine naming strategy, even Leo answers to his name phonetically in Spanish - more LayOh than Leo!

Like most people in the real world I need to earn real money to pay for my webhosting and biscuits for Caoimhe - she gets hangry. I earn that as Head of Technical Services at EEUK, where I oversee our Occupational Hygiene, Water Hygiene, Fire Safety and Process Safety expertise while implementing technological solutions. My views are always my own, never represent those of my employer, and where relevant should never be interpreted as investement or legal advice. I'd not follow what I say - you would be well advised not to either!
Being my personal home on the web, the focus of what I write about will change depending on my interests at the time. You are likely to find me talking about:
