(Who we sold when we moved cross country) The girls we had could thrive on minimal grain and alfalfa. While we still own one of these cows we wanted a cow that gave over 4 gallons a day. ➡️ Why? Our family has grown substantially over the years and we need a lot more milk. (Hello 6️⃣ kids) ➡️ We wanted a brown Swiss over a higher production jersey because of their demeanor, they are gentle giants. ➡️ And last but not least we want to breed registered brown Swiss cows.
