Here are this year's Halloween goodies: You need two paper bags for each broomstick. I used the small size from Michael's that are about 6" x 2". Unfold one bag and push out its base while folding in the left and right sides. Use scissors to cut the bag into thin strips right down to the base fold. When I saw these cute licorice brooms in the Stampin' Up! catalog, I knew I wanted to make some. The cutting and small pieces make them time consuming, but there so darn cute!

For this month's technique we created Halloween treat holders for Charms lollipops. In lieu of instructions, I'm linking to Beth's blog where she used licorice as the base for her broomstick but you get the idea. If you want your broomstick to stand up like mine you'll need to cut off some of the wrapper at the top of the lollipop and make sure your broom pieces are long enough to stabilize the lollipop once you turn it upside down.
