Desk using cube storage

Hi all, I'm looking to build a desk for the office here as I can't seem to find anything suitable other than in IKEA (and the the $300 delivery cost is a bit of a turn off). DIY Desk Using a Hollow Core Door and Some Cube Storage

My adaptation of an idea on Pinterest. Added bun feet to the cube units and placed them on their sides so the table wouldn't be so high.

Found this idea on Pinterest! Bought 2 more 6 cube storage shelves. Hubby found nice thick piece of wood @ Home Depot. He secured with nails&screws, varnished wood & YIPPEE, a craft desk for me!

This is the final look of the table. I used Walmart Cube Organizers. I got two 3 cube x 3 cube and two 3 cube x 2 cube shelves. I put them perpendicular to each other so that it would be sturdy. I am 5’5 in height and the shelves were about 36 inches. It was the perfect height for me to stand and cut my fabric. Counter height stools (~30 inches) are great for this.
