This is the second album of The Gap Band form the 1977 self-titled album, not to be confused with the also self-titled album from 1979. Probably a record company decision.. Anyway.. very very funky. The Gap Band—featuring Brothers Charlie, Ronnie, and Robert Wilson—was one of the most popular and commercially successful funk groups of the late 1970s and 1980s. The band was formed in Tulsa in 1974 and is named after the major streets in the Greenwood neighborhood (Greenwood, Archer, and Pine).
