10. Prophet Yaqub (Jacob)A.S The word Yaqub' mentioned 16 times in Quran in 16 ayat. He was the son of Ishaq A.S grandson of Ibrahim A.S also a faithful leader and the messenger of Allah based in Canaan. 9. Prophet Ishaq (Isaac) A.S Ishaq is mentioned fifteen times by name in the Quran, often with his father Ibrahim AS and his son, Yaqub AS. The Quran states that Ibrahim AS received "good tidings of Ishaq, a prophet, of the righteous", and that Allah blessed them both (37: 112). The name Ishak means 'One who laughs' because Sarah laughed when the angel told them that they would get achild (since she was very old).
