Does Rep Count Even Matter for Building Muscle
Greater reps can still develop muscle: I've known this for ages, but if you are doing high reps close to muscular fatigue ... you are going to put on muscle size. So even if you lift light weights, you can still add muscle. In fact, I would state that higher reps are the best way to increase muscle size, due to the cumulative fatigue that "needs more effort" from set to set. Do not let any recently certified fitness instructor tell you otherwise.
