build things
I treat software like a form of contemporary craft.
Some people collect frameworks. I collect ideas, small frustrations, overlooked workflows, beautiful interfaces, interesting systems, and turn them into tools. Most of what I build is open source because the best ideas become more interesting when other people can shape them too.
My interests stretch beyond engineering. Music influences pacing. Contemporary art influences composition. Architecture influences systems. Design influences restraint. Together they shape how I think about technology: not as code to be written, but as experiences to be composed.
I'm endlessly curious about developer tools, distributed systems, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and the products that quietly become indispensable. That's the work I want to leave behind.
The things I've made live in the workshop. The parts worth remembering end up in ramblings.
