RacoonDRBot/1.0 (+https://racoondr.com/bot) is RacoonDR's badge verification crawler.

When a site owner tells us they've installed the RacoonDR badge, the bot fetches their homepage (and, if provided, one specific page) to confirm the badge is present. Verified sites keep a dofollow backlink on their RacoonDR page; we re-check roughly once a week.

• Visits only domains whose owners requested verification on racoondr.com
• At most a handful of requests per site per week; 10-second timeout; 2 MB read cap
• Follows redirects, never executes forms, never crawls beyond the pages above

Questions or want it to stop visiting your site? Remove the badge from your pages, or block the user agent in robots.txt and we'll fail verification gracefully.
