A huge source of inspiration for me is Katsuhiro Otomo. He is one of the greatest panel to panel storytellers ever. But he’s also able to create extremely compelling singular images. Above are some illustration pieces he did, along with a few isolated panels/pages from his comics. I get something new from his work every time I see it, no matter how many times I’ve looked at it.

The Underestimator Mixtapes - “Pop’s Not Dead”
A borderline pop mixtape, consisting of punk & new wave-influenced singles, mostly from my favorite period, the 1977-85 era, compiling pop gems from straightforward punk bands, such as The Clash or The Damned (if you thought these punk pioneers never had a pop moment, well, you’re in for a surprise), lots of pop melodies by post-punk and new wave artists, garage pop tunes, as well as pop highlights of the aussie rock scene, in other words, an unexpected mega-mixtape, yet curated in the typical spirit of The Underestimator.
