The short answer
To do the AI trend on TikTok, pick the trend, add a clear photo of yourself (or one photo of each person), let the AI make the clip, then post it on TikTok with the trend’s sound. The AI trends people are making from their own photos in October 2026 are Burning Bridges (the chandelier party clip), Raindance, the gas station dance, the AI zombie hug, the Hotel Lobby rap duo, the AI hug and the Earth zoom out. This studio makes each of them in the browser on your phone, with no app, template or prompt, in a few minutes. An effect clip of 5 seconds costs 5 credits, a standard rap song 10 credits, and a render that fails is never charged.
What's new on this page
- — Updated Raindance, Burning Bridges, gas station, zombie and Earth zoom out to match the effects as they are now: no rain on the pier, a silver cup and a wave at the party, an everyday car, a flare-gun standoff before the hug, and a top-down rise from a city plaza.
- — New trend added: Burning Bridges, the chandelier party clip with the hand-over-the-eyes look.

How to do the AI trend on TikTok
Every few weeks a new AI trend takes over TikTok and Reels, and the question is always the same: how do I do the AI trend, and what app is everyone using? For most of them the answer is one photo of you and a few minutes. The steps are the same for every trend below:
- Pick the trend. Each one is an effect in the studio above; Raindance is selected on this page.
- Add a photo. A clear, front-facing photo of you. For two people, add one photo of each, or one photo of both of you.
- Make it. Tap Make the effect (or switch to the Rap video tab for Hotel Lobby). The clip is ready in a few minutes.
- Post it. Download the vertical clip, upload it to TikTok and add the trend’s sound from the library.
The AI trends on TikTok right now (October 2026)
Burning Bridges (new this week)
- What it looks like: you step out of the crowd at a chandelier-lit party in a wood-panelled room, a shiny silver cup in hand, point at the guests, wave at the camera and raise a hand over your eyes to scan the room. The clip's beat is quiet, so add the trend's sound when you post. The trend comes from the party scene in Drake's "Burning Bridges" video; this is our own scene with your face, not the video.
- Photos you need: one photo of you, one of each person, or one photo of your dog or cat.
- Make it: Burning Bridges AI
Raindance
- What it looks like: one second of your ordinary snapshot, then a hard cut to you on a wooden pier above the sea at golden hour, the sun behind your head, singing softly into the lens with a hand on your chest, ending wide as you sit on the pier edge at sunset. The clip itself carries only waves and a soft pad with no lyrics, so add "Raindance" by Dave and Tems from the TikTok or Instagram library when you post.
- Photos you need: one photo of you, or one of each person for a duet.
- Make it: Raindance AI trend
Gas station dance
- What it looks like: three golden-hour shots: a smooth dance on an empty gas station forecourt, a warm selfie close-up, and a step out of a plain, everyday car into the sunset.
- Photos you need: one full-body or waist-up photo (one is the default), or one of each person.
- Make it: Gas station AI trend
AI zombie hug
- What it looks like: in a dark, abandoned house, a partner, friend or parent has already turned into a zombie but keeps the same face. The other one raises a flare gun with shaking hands, cannot fire, remembers a sunlit day of the two of them laughing, then lowers it and hugs them. No blood or gore.
- Photos you need: one photo of each person: photo 1 stays human, photo 2 is the one who turned.
- Make it: AI zombie trend
Hotel Lobby (the Migos rap duo)
- What it looks like: two people in a bright orange booth with two microphones, rapping, in the style of the "Hotel Lobby" performance on A COLORS SHOW. Here the AI writes an original rap for the two of you, so there is no copyrighted track.
- Photos you need: one photo of each person; they don’t need to be taken together.
- Make it: Hotel Lobby AI, on the Rap video tab
AI hug (a loved one or your younger self)
- What it looks like: two people turn toward each other and share a warm hug: a friend who moved away, a partner in another city, or today’s you with a childhood photo of yourself.
- Photos you need: one photo of you and one of the other person; one photo of both works too.
- Make it: AI hug generator
Hug a loved one who passed away
- What it looks like: a quiet place in soft, warm light where you and a parent, grandparent or friend you lost walk closer, share a long hug and turn to the camera, set to a gentle piano. It is an imagined moment, made with care.
- Photos you need: a recent photo of you and a photo of them; an old print photographed with your phone works.
- Make it: AI hug with a deceased loved one
Earth zoom out
- What it looks like: an ultra-wide selfie angle from above as you wave up from an open city plaza, then, in one unbroken take, the camera rises and tilts straight down, past the curved horizon and the atmosphere, until the whole Earth hangs in space.
- Photos you need: one clear photo, solo or the two of you.
- Make it: Earth zoom out
Clones
- What it looks like: copies of you step out one by one until a whole squad of you lines a city street, striking the same pose.
- Photos you need: one photo, ideally full-body; one of two people works too.
- Make it: AI clone video

What app is everyone using for the AI trend?
There isn’t one. People make these trends with different tools: CapCut templates and various AI video apps, many of which mean finding a template, installing an app or writing a prompt. This studio makes each of the trends above in the browser, on your phone or computer: no app, no template and no prompt, because the scene, the movement and the camera are already written into each effect.
Tips before you post
- Use a clear, front-facing photo. The face is followed from the photo, so a sharp, well-lit picture matters most.
- Keep it vertical. 9:16 is the TikTok and Reels format; square and widescreen are there for other places.
- Add the sound in TikTok. The clips carry their own original sound; the trend’s song comes from TikTok’s library when you post.
- Only use photos you have the right to use. Your own, or a friend’s with their permission.
