  1. Toto says:

    Wholesome masterpiece.
In the Worlds top 10 for sure.
A must for any true cinephile.

  2. Jackson says:

Great Film. Actually saw it in the theater.

  3. Gog Magog says:

    Great movie!
Yeap, the good experience of seeing a film on the big screen.
Many cinema rooms in Brazil closing, turning into evangelic churches, parking lots (Carbono 14, an alternative space, too).
And a Brazilian director wrote this movie is very boring. Very boring is he!!!! Unhappy being, which said crap on the TV screen too.

  4. Ralphus says:

I’ve been wanting to see this one for years, thank you so much! Which version should I watch?

    • Mr.G. says:

no, DC is 2002 and is intended for same audience at different age looking back from their own self. It’s this “looking back” at life that runs so deep in Italian films. So, better you decide.

    • Merrill Womach says:

Most fans probably prefer the Director’s Cut, but I think the Theatrical Cut is the better place to start. The DC adds a big chunk that amplifies the film’s sentimentality too far for my taste.

  5. Mr.G. says:

that’s the experience streaming killed, RL reminds.

  6. Steve Kinney says:

Thank you very, very much for the quick fulfillment of my request. This is one of my all-time favorite films. I recently lost my mother whose family were from Sicily — and she adored this movie.

  7. Tony says:

Huge film. Thanks for the high quality director’s cut edition.
