This album moves between haunting, fairy-led ballads, to cheeky, childlike songs and on to wild, thumping dances. I already had the CD, but loved it so much I've bought it here as well. Dewi Hughes

It's just so beautiful! This piece is like a strong woman, whose devotion and conviction to protect and nurture her loved ones is so powerful that it can bend the heavens to fulfill them. Keep making music Anilah! You're really talented! (Also, I am a fan of Wardruna). Alphacruxer

Hard to find much information on this Nordic folk act, except that they recorded this in Copenhagen. They draw on Norse mythology and a very traditional sound for their offerings. It is beautifully done, on what sounds like primarily ethnic instruments and features lots of what I think of as “village” vocals. The harmonies are chill-inducing, and I love the juxtaposition of icy eeriness tempered with fiery vehemence. Nickie Harte Kelly
