Persona 5 is the best JRPG of all time. It achieves this by not overloading itself with unecessary mechanics and giving every element of the gameplay enough purpose to not have anything truly obsolete. The social link system and the fixed time-frame of the protagonists day, helps the game pace itself perfectly. The visuals are stunnig and the aesthetic of every piece of UI and other in game graphics are loud and unusual but harmonious, and this can be said about sound design aswell. The whole look and feel has a unique character. The characters are relatable and not too anime. The story, while sometimes predictable for fans of the series, is executed exeptionally and the player never feels lost in the narrative. This makes Persona 5 enjoyable, even if you´re not to much of a anime fan yourself. Certainly, if you are ready to steal some hearts, Persona 5 is there to take you on a ride.

A benchmark on graphics and design that suffers under some cagian writing sometimes.

Undertale is a journey which combines storytelling elements in a way that only video games can. It uses the medium to go beyond traditional storytelling. It's the product of true inspiration and I'm glad to have played it. Exceptional for the thoughtful implementation of every element of the experience and the fantastic storytelling that surmounts expectations.

The way Return of the Obra Dinn tells its story shows what non-linear media is capable of. It´s worth every penny and every minute you have to invest to figure out the ships secrets.

What is so fascinating about this game is that it brings across a very contemporary story in the form of a fallout-esque RPG. Truly a great game that doesn´t compromise gameplay for a story or the other way around. I really loved the way this game played, although the final boss was rather one dimensional as a test of skills, the reveal was worth fighting it. Because in the end the enemy wasn´t a single person, it was the system. Every Character enriches the universe and every story is worth its playtime. Thank you Obsidian.

I enjoyed moments, I've been puzzled by others. In moments you begin to see meaning it rings profound. In moments where the narrative looses me it also moves me along with interesting visuals to make me catch up. It feels lost, in a right way. Small criticism include that the intendet way to play is sometimes too difficult too read, making it hard to stay focused in some scenes. Fair warning: If you dont like reading in video games, skip Kentucky Route Zero. It is an interactive novel with 3d environments more than a game. Well I'll keep on traveling, meet you along the way.
