Definitely a unique game design, which, with its "drawn" style, creates the atmosphere of a comic book. For the most part, the game is an interactive movie and a quest at the same time. Very pleased with the directing. The framing is top-notch!

No interface, no dialogues, just action and ambient music. No hints or distractions. This allows you to immerse yourself in this project. For me, this work is on the verge of a game and an art house movie. I recommend it to anyone who likes the melancholic atmosphere of being.

If the trilogy was more of an arcade and stand-alone game, then starting with this part the game decided to be like a movie. The gameplay itself seems fascinating at first, but later all that's left is the grind of shields, to move on to the next episode.
What I really liked about it was the parallax effect of the splash screens for each episode. Cool animation.

A kind of DLC for the original Half-Life 2. Is essentially a test room for improvements to the graphics engine, such as HDR lighting, facial expressions or texturing. Coupled with developer commentary, it looks very cool. You can learn a lot of details about the game development process.

To each his own. Tactical shooter or survival game? Neither. Every map I wandered through gave me a bunch of positive emotions. Above all, it was interesting. What's worth the map «Dobro Mesto», which looks like an Eastern European city with its surroundings. Of course, everyone will find something different, but for me, first of all, it is an exploration!
