Mister Mouse Crisp, dreamy and easy on the bones. A space rock Darwinism of Cat Stevens throwing vivid colors at a faraway world and delivering hope to today’s reality.

Colin M. A groovy and delightful slab of catchy psych rock. I agree that it is a grower - I liked it at first listen but have noticed additional nuance with repeated listens. Favorite track: Mighty River.

Since their formation in 2011, Gin Lady has quietly carved out their own space in the rock world, one where the echoes of classic ’70s rock are alive and well, but still very much alive in their own hands. Hailing from northern Sweden, the band has always been about more than just the music. It’s about the vibe—the tight harmonies, the groove, and that unmistakable chemistry between the four of them. Their catalogue up to now, including ‘Gin Lady’ (2011), ‘Mother’s Ruin’ (2013), ‘Call the Nation’ (2015), ‘Electric Earth’ (2017), ‘Tall Sun Crooked Moon’ (2019), and ‘Camping with Bohdi’ (2021), has been a steady evolution. Each album feels like a step forward, but it never loses that reckless charm that makes their sound so compelling.

With their new album ‘Before The Dawn of Time’ set for release in February 2025, Gin Lady is finally letting us in on what’s coming next—and ‘The Paramount’ is just the tip of the iceberg. If this track is any indication, this might be the band’s boldest statement yet. Recorded live at Sweden’s revered Svenska Grammofonstudion, ‘The Paramount’ takes everything we know and love about Gin Lady and tightens it up, while adding new layers of texture and complexity. It’s a little more psychedelic, a little more expansive, but still rooted in that same raw, earthy sound that made us fall in love with them in the first place.
