Rostro del Sol was founded in 2018 in Mexico City by guitarist Mitch Bálänt. The band's sound is characterized by a hybrid of Blues, Heavy psych, Jazz, and Progressive Rock. Their primary goal is to one day use their music to help humanity.

Recently discovered this band. IF their back catalogue, is as great as this I'll be adding them to my collection. To my ears they sound like someone has blended early black sabbath with led zepplin's bluesier albums. A much welcome trip to the 70s hard blues heavy metal.

This is fucking killer. It's the perfect blend between trad-riffs and contemporary tones and sometimes growl vocals. They're even better live too.

The funk and prog bits sprinkled on this big fat heavy groovy cake make it oh so tasty, and I love a good, unpretentious concept album. I'll have another slice right now, if you don't mind.

This is great stuff, really enjoying it. Progressive, spacey and heavy with a brilliant groove throughout. Vocals sound distant which goes with the music so well. Big thumbs up from me
