This park-and-ride multi-story parking at Salak Tinggi is very convenient, especially for those who wish to board the ERL train to work or take flights at KLIA/KLIA2. If you are traveling domestically or overseas and need to park your car for several days (even for weeks!), You can park overnight at Salak Tinggi Park and Ride in peace of mind.
The parking rates are affordable compared to if you park at KLIA long-term parking (LTP). Salak Tinggi Park and Ride prices are RM3 per day (daytime parking) and an additional RM5 if you park overnight. You can use the parking calculator to find out how much it costs to park here. There are both covered (multi-story parking) and open-space parking.
The security is good as the parking area is well-lit, and equipped with CCTV. There is a well-managed lift and vending machine for drinks. To take ERL, go to the ground floor and walk to the opposite ERL station. There is also a washroom on the ground.
The best thing is the parking is open 24/7, so if your flight is at 7.30 am, for example, you can still come early to park your car and take the first ERL to KLIA/KLIA2. It takes just 10 minutes from ERL Salak Tinggi to KLIA2.
Few things that you want to take note if you plan to park here:
- The lower levels (Level 1,2, if not mistaken) are marked as reserved. Do not park here. Ideally, park at Level 4,5.
- The covered car park may be fully occupied if you come after peak hours, whereby people might have taken up all the available parking lots. However, you can still park in the open car park area. So arrange the timing, come early if possible.
- If you park in the multi-story car park, do not park on the driveway or any area blocking the traffic. If you do that, otherwise your car may be clamped.
- Make sure your Touch n Go card is in good working condition. You can still enter the car park even if you have low balance on the card, just ensure you top up your TnG and have sufficient balance before exiting the car park. Also, ensure the TnG card you used for parking at Salak Tinggi Park n Ride is not used for other purposes (such as paying LRT, tolls, etc.). Doing so may cause problems exiting later (where you may need to pay cash manually to staff)
Extra Tips
- Multi-storey covered car park and Car Park A are usually occupied early in the day. If you wish to park at covered car park, arrive earlier probably before 7am.
- In case parking are full in covered car park and Car Park A, you can still park at open Car Park B and C.
- Covered car park accepts only TNG, while Car park A, B and C accepts credit and debit cards as well.

Parking untuk pelawat disedia adalah “first-come-first-serve” (kecuali petak reserved), tak boleh buat tempahan atau booking terlebih awal. Digalakkan datang awal untuk dapatkan tempat parking. Memandangkan flight anda awal, sepatutnya tak ada masalah untuk dapatkan parking.
Guna TnG untuk masuk kawasan parking. Pastikan dah top-up siap-siap dalam jumlah yang mencukupi. Parking bertingkat ni memang self-service, awal-awal pagi memang tak ada staf. Kalau lewat saya tak pasti, mungkin ada staf parking.
Satu lagi kena ingat, selepas dah touch kad TnG dan masuk parking, jangan gunakan kad TnG tersebut untuk tujuan lain seperti bayar tol, LRT, etc sehingga anda keluar parking. Ada pelawat yang menghadapi masalah untuk keluar selepas dia menggunakan kad TnG yang sama untuk membuat pembayaran lain, palang gate tidak boleh buka.

Kalau hari bekerja, agak sukar untuk dapat tempat parkir berbumbung. Alternatifnya, boleh parkir di tempat parkir terbuka (tidak berbumbung) yang terletak bersebelahan bangunan parkir berbumbung (tambahan waktu jalan kaki 1-3 minit ke bangunan utama). Biasanya, tempat parkir berbumbung dalam bangunan akan dipenuhi dahulu.
Disarankan tuan datang lebih awal dan buat perancangan untuk mengelakkan gangguan masa perjalanan.

Yes, shouldn’t be a problem to get a parking lot at 5am. 4-5 days of parking are perfectly fine. You only need to register at the car park mgmt office if you wish to park more than 2 months, which I think is a rare case.

Yes, based on my experience, that shouldn’t be a problem since you will be entering the car park early in the morning. I am not very sure what time usually the car park gets fully occupied but I believed any time before 8am (probably earlier than that!)

Pergi seawal yang boleh untuk mendapatkan lot parking. Kalau parking tempat berbumbung sudah penuh, boleh cuba tempat parkir terbuka (tidak berbumbung). Untuk 4 hari anggaran dalam RM27-RM32 bergantung pada pukul berapa tuan/puan masuk parking.

You may face difficulties exiting where the gate may not open. I think the real trouble is if that happens at midnight or early morning when no staff is around.
To avoid possible issues, I suggest you have an extra TnG card. You may consider the new TnG enhanced card where you can link to the TnG e-wallet and top-up your TnG directly from your mobile phone, anytime and anywhere (no extra RM0.50 charges to top-up).
I think worth to have an additional TnG card not just for Salak Tinggi parking purposes, it is good to have a spare TnG card for those using public facilities or transport frequently and as we know, TnG card is widely used nowadays (toll, bus, parking, LRT/MRT).

I believe it would be easier to get parking if you drive in after peak hours, probably around 6-8 pm (during weekdays), as folks who park here to go to the workplace could have exited the parking. If you happen to come early and the covered car park is occupied, do check out the open parking space in case parking is available. Cheers.

May I know if I reach there around 4.00 am, is there any grab cars or taxi for me to get to KLIA 1?
From my experience, there was no taxi at Salak Tinggi ERL station in the wee hours. Not sure about Grab. If you need a taxi from Salak Tinggi parking to KLIA T1, I believed the safest way is to pre-book it.
Check the rates beforehand and book from a reliable taxi services company. (there are a lot of taxi services ads on Google, remember to read the customer review, and do basic checking on the company before booking to ensure they are real)
Other alternatives (which are obviously more expensive):
1) Pre-book a taxi to pick you up from your home > KLIA T1 directly
2) Park at KLIA T1 long-term parking (https://airports.malaysiaairports.com.my/getting-around/transport/parking)
Depending on how many days you need to park your car, the total cost incurred to you can be very different. Do the consideration not just the cost, but also consider the convenience and safety.

Keselamatan kenderaan yg diletakkan disini adakah selamat jika untuk tempoh 12 hari.
Keadaan tempat parking sangat terurus, terang dan dilengkapi CCTV. Semenjak saya menggunakan kemudahan parking di Salak TInggi Park n Ride, tak pernah lagi jumpa orang-orang luar berlegar-legar atau bermundar-mandir di kawasan parking. Pada pandangan saya, keselamatan agak terjamin dan tidak ada masalah untuk meletakkan kenderaan 2 minggu.
Parking motorsikal di sana selalu full jugak ke? cadang nak park 2 hari.
Menurut sumber dari rakan yang pernah menggunakan tempat parking motosikal di hari bekerja, tempat parking masih banyak yang ada dan tidak penuh. Tempat parking yang dimaksudkan adalah di kawasan perking terbuka (tempat parking motosikal adalah berbumbung)

ERL yang terakhir dari KLIA (T1) ke Salak Tinggi Park n Ride pukul 0034 (12:34 pagi), dan dari KLIA (T2) ke Salak Tinggi Park n Ride pukul 0030 (12:30 pagi).
Salak Tinggi Park n Ride buka 24 jam. Pastikan Kad TnG ada baki yang mencukupi untuk mengelakkan sebarang kesulitan semasa keluar.

@CY Only TnG is accepted. I can’t recall seeing any TnG top-up kiosks here, but if you are catching a flight at KLIA T1/KLIA T2, there are TnG top-up kiosks at the parking payment machines in KLIA T1/KLIA T2 where you can top-up on your way back. Alternatively, you can top up at the convenience store (e.g., KK Mart) in KLIA T1/KLIA T2 with a RM0.50 fee.
Unless it is a public holiday, there is still parking available on Sunday late morning. At least, this has been my experience parking here 2-3 times before noon.
There are over 1600 parking bays here, including both covered and open car parks, providing ample parking spaces for normal days

If your flight is at 10:30 am on Saturday (assuming no public holiday), arriving around 7 am is good in a normal case (although I would suggest slightly earlier) to secure parking.
On weekdays, people use the train to commute to work, so they start parking their cars as early as 6 am, some at 6:30 am, or later depending on their workplace. As parking spaces are limited, try to arrive as early as possible.

Kami difahamkan sekarang ini, orang awam tidak dibenarkan meletakkan kenderaan di parking berbumbung. Adahkah kenyataan ini betul? Tq.
Slot di tempat parking berbumbung bergantung kepada hari dan masa masuk parking. Kalau hari cuti umum memang susah sikit nak dapatkan slot parking sebab ramai orang balik kampung atau pergi bercuti dan rata-rata akan tinggalkan kereta beberapa hari. Slot parking akan dipenuhi dengan lebih cepat kalau cuti umum bersambung dengan hujung minggu. Peluang untuk dapatkan parking adalah lebih cerah kalau masuk awal sebelum cuti bermula.
Kalau masuk hari biasa tidak ada masalah, cuma datang awal pagi sebab ramai yang parking kereta di Park n Ride untuk pergi bekerja. Boleh juga pertimbangkan untuk parking di tempat parking terbuka sekiranya tempat berbumbung sudah penuh.
Tempat parking berbumbung boleh digunakan dan dibuka seperti biasa, kecuali penuh.

Consider using the open car park if the covered car park is fully occupied. During public holidays, many people go on vacations or balik kampung trips, so the early bird catches the worm. There are almost 1700 parking lots available (both open and covered), so if you can adjust your travel time to arrive slightly earlier, you shouldn’t have a problem finding a parking space.

Perjalanan ERL dari Salak Tinggi hanya memakan masa 7-10 minit bergantung kepada destinasi anda, samada KLIA T1 atau T2. Ini bermaksud anda akan tiba di KLIA T1/T2 lebih kurang 5:40 pagi. Waktu tiba ERL selalunya ikut masa/jadual.
Kalau flight domestik, memang lebih dari cukup masa utk check in luggage. Kalau flight international, anda disaran semak dgn syarikat penerbangan untuk memastikan anda tidak melebihi waktu yg ditetapkan, dan merancang perjalanan dengan lebih efektif.
Ya, boleh juga gunakan Grab atau perkhidmatan teksi ke KLIA dimana anda boleh buat tempahan lebih awal.

Assuming your TNG is in good condition, you may want to check with the parking management about what could be the possible issue. The car parks are open to visitors even if you don’t have a season pass. FYI, the covered car park only accepts TNG for now. Credit/Debit cards are accepted at the open car parks A, B, and C.
