Art does not consist of separate lists. It lives through relationships.
As a musician and web developer, I know both sides: the artistic work itself and the challenge of making it accessible to others. Poiesis Atlas connects works with the people, concerts, places, recordings, writing and publications that belong to them.
A living network of relationships
Everything is connected—and still easy to find.
Drag a point and the whole network responds. This is how Poiesis Atlas works in the background: every piece of information remains distinct while leading to its context.
Moving the points is a purely visual, optional feature. All information shown is included in the description.
Born from music and a real need
In 1999, the composer collective Gegenklang founded a publishing house. Its website needed to present not only the publisher, but the composers, their works and performances as one connected world.
As a musician, one thing was immediately clear to me: a work never stands alone. It is performed, recorded, discussed, published and experienced in many places. Poiesis Atlas grew from that observation.
Relationships instead of separate filing cabinets
A work belongs to a person, is performed in concerts, appears on recordings and is discussed in writing. The Atlas preserves these links instead of repeating the same information in many places.
Visitors can move from a work to a recording, from there to the performers and on to the next concert—along paths that reflect real artistic life.
Every website presents a different perspective
A composer website starts with the catalogue of works, a festival with events and a label with recordings. The emphasis changes while the carefully maintained context remains.
Every website therefore receives its own design and navigation. Behind the scenes, Poiesis Atlas can work with Directus or TYPO3.

03 · Design studies
Difficult website questions deserve more than the first available answer.
New projects bring new challenges. To challenge myself, make my thinking visible and offer clients a view of possible solutions, I regularly develop design studies. The current question: how can a website present someone with one, two or three equally important professions without letting one disappear?
One Fold: This website is itself the result of a one-pager study. It presents a multifaceted practice as one connected story on a single page.

04 · Making spaces digitally accessible
Places you can enter, not merely look at.
360° walkthroughs make exhibitions, buildings and other places explorable directly in the browser. Drone footage, photogrammetry and Gaussian splatting extend that documentation wherever perspective, terrain or spatial depth matter.
