For the first time, this 1993 historic concert—captured at Alice Tully Hall during one of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s earliest seasons—is available via digital streaming platforms. This album is the only recording of the full suite, Roy's original composition commissioned by Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Roy performs with his then quintet featuring Ron Blake, Marc Cary, Rodney Whitaker and Greg Hutchinson along with two special guests Jesse Davis and Andre Hayward. Produced by RHQ alum Willie Jones III and released on Blue Engine Records the album honors Roy’s remarkable musical legacy and is an incredible listening experience.
