She clipped and saved that from an old Seventeen Magazine from the 70s! I highly suggest that you double (or triple) this recipe because these will go fast. Ingredients… - 1 egg - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese - 3/4 cup chopped salami - 2 tbs chopped scallions - 1 can crescent roll dough - 2 tsp teaspoons sesame seeds - Combine cheese, salami, scallions and egg in a bowl - Roll out 4 rectangles of the crescent dough, adding the filling to the long side - Roll the filling into the dough, connecting the ends to make a donut shape - Brush the tops of each roll with egg wash and sesame seeds - Bake at 375 for 15 min #recipe #hosting #easyrecipes #picnic #picnicrollups #familyrecipe #easyfamilyrecipes | bites by the Page | bitesbythepage · Original audio

Diane Morrisey on Instagram: "Trader Joe’s has a one pound package of shaved beef that I love because of its versatility. I can use it so many ways. These simple pepper steak roll ups using crescent roll dough are a huge hit with my kids. So simple to assemble, they pack big flavor. I did serve these with tomato soup but they are just as good as snack all by themselves or with a side salad This filling could be made a day in advance and then just assembled and baked off when you are ready to serve. The filling could also be completely cooled, the roll ups could be assembled and then covered well and parked in the fridge overnight. Bake off the next day . . .
