Hector is a feral pigeon living in Paris, France. In summer of 2015 came to my windows with feet tied together and severely bound by strings. One foot was gangrened. He had been hobbled for months and was in very bad shape. I got the strings off and released him but he came back every day for a meal :-) Within 10 days he'd lost the bad foot. A month later he was practically twirling on his stump and flirting with pigeon hens. Hector had his mojo back.
