Living in an old home has it's challenges. One of them being storage! We needed a place for all of our winter gear and boots, so we decided to do an Ikea mudroom locker hack to add some more storage. We had a spot in our downstairs hallway that worked perfectly. You can easily make these look like they are built-ins but we decided not to due to a small access door for some plumbing. When we first started our laundry room/mudroom remodel, we had these grand plans of doing a great built in with tons of storage. Then it came to the time to do it and all we could see is $$$ signs. We opted out for a quick solution that was under $100! It looked great, and held some of our "stuff" but it wasn't practical.
