Ceratosaurus: Another solid Picture for the Rot Dragon

Majungasaurus crenatissimus 3D model. This strange Abelisaur had immobile arms, a long body, and a horn on the top of its head. This highly detailed paleoart was made with the most current scientific information available, from the skeleton, integument, and muscles were created to account for what we know about the creature. This is probably one of the most accurate Majungasaurus reconstructions.

This artwork is my biggest long-term project. The sketch for this drawing appeared more than a year ago - then I wanted to pay attention to the surrounding space, specifically: the riverbank and the image of mud, something that paleoillustrators often avoid. The animal may be smeared in dirt or dust- you won't find any clean ones today) but then something went wrong, and as usual I decided not to bother so much. A relatively quick (3hr) piece I did to get a concept down and to experiment on doing faster drawings that push how much I can add in details and in rendering with a half decent background. Subject is Tarbosaurus, T. rex's asian close cousin.
