Drafting inspiration: cowl sleeves- from vintage to contemporary. Whether you add just a bit of a cowl or make it a true bias sleeve, you can lots of fun designing and drafting your own, from little daywear details to full on glamorous volume. In soft silk they drape beautifully, while velvet gives them a sculptural quality, but they’re also a great addition to easy knit dressing! The full tutorial is now on my website.

I had the most interesting evening last night. My husband and I were attending the theater. Just as the production broke for intermission, the theater manager came on stage and said that the tornado sirens were sounding and we needed to evacuate to the basement. I was especially impressed by how well the situation was handled, but sitting in the theater basement was a very surreal experience. We were there for 45 minutes.
