Hello Makers! It’s Sara from Rose Hill Quilts with another wintery creation. This collection is just perfect for the lovers of skiing and other mountain resort adventures. You can find the whole range by Corinne Wells here. I used the teal prints to make simple mountains with low-volume snow caps. for krista (spottedstone) in the cocorico bee. she asked for a skiing theme and mentioned that her families local resort was alyeska. i found a trail map and took some names of a few runs as well as the names of a few of the mountain faces for the sign. i used the name of the resort on the skis. i used two vintage ski posters for the idea.

My dear mother, Etta Bower Davis (1910-1964), taught me how to applique when I was 20 years old. In the early 1960s when she was battling breast cancer she was also making applique pictures that depicted our immediate family.
