Bánh Tiêu is one of my favorite Vietnamese desserts. It’s essentially a Vietnamese donut. What sets it apart from traditional western donuts is the airy and soft hollow interior and fragrant sesame seed crust. This recipe is PERFECT for holidays 🎉. It’s SO easy to make and always makes for great appetizers at any gathering or dinner party!
Mine came out buttery, light, uber FLAKEY and perfectly seasoned. These are so delicious and comforting - you and your guests definitely won’t want to just eat one! 😋

✨Notes
- The wood ear mushroom is optional but highly recommended!
- I used 2-3 egg yolks for the egg wash for 24 puff pastries
- Bake at 375F for 25 minutes

✨Ingredients (24 puff pastries)
- 4 sheets of store-bought pastry sheets (I bought mine with butter but feel free to use a dairy-free option)
- 1 lb ground pork (you can swap this out for beef or chicken too)
- 3 tbsp of dried wood Savoury Puff Pastry, Wood Ear Mushroom, Ear Mushroom, Savory Puff Pastry, Eggs And Mushrooms, Puff Pastries, Chicken Bouillon, Substitute For Egg, Puff Pastry Sheets
