Popcorn Tofu | Popcorn Chicken Inspired Recipe
Ingredients • 400g tofu, pat dried • -1/2 Cup (125ml) plant milk • -1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar • 1 tbsp sriracha • -314 (90g) cup starch • -2 Tsp each paprika, salt, garlic powder • -pepper to taste • -1 cup Panko seasoned • Seasoning: • -1 Tsp each paprika, cumin, salt Instructions • Tear tofu into chunks • Mix the apple cider vinegar, sriracha, and milk and marinate the tofu in it for 30 minutes. • Combine your corn starch, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. • Toss your marinated tofu in the corn starch mixture and then toss into panko breadcrumbs. • Fry until golden brown or bake at 400°F for 20 minutes. • Toss with paprika cumin and salt and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce such as sweet and sour or sriracha.
