A collection of ceramic pots from the Hoi An Cham Island shipwreck. Last photo shows some examples in the national history museum, Hanoi. This ship in the late 15th century sunk shortly after leaving Vietnam with this famous blue and white pottery, destined for foreign markets. The colour remains thanks to the technology used, the cobalt blue is infused into the pottery, and the enamel glaze has also meant many of these pieces remain almost as new. They are not original matching bowls and lids. Extremely rare to find a complete piece on the seabed as they become separated, but they are all a good match for style and size.
