I love making cookie jars. This cookie jar has a mix of blues, violets and tans. I made it on the wheel, glazed it and then fired it to stoneware temperature. The glazes mixed and flowed down the jar during the firing. The lid fits great and the opening is large enough for your hand. It is about 8 1/2 inches tall with the lid and 6 3/4 inches without it. 7 inches in diameter. The opening is about 4 1/2 inches. The inside is glazed in a creamy tan glaze.
