You’ve likely seen the latest Ikea ad. ⁠A couple walks into a home filled with moving boxes, followed by a child carrying that big blue Ikea bag. It begins glowing, and the kid starts pulling out furniture items.⁠ Now, it’s getting a real-life counterpart: a 19-foot-tall blue bag with a larger-than-life QR code on its price tag. People can be afraid of many things, from darkness to spiders, to you name it. Some of these fears are totally irrational, others come from our childhoods and creep in well into our adult lives. One of such bizarre fears is megalophobia.
