Here I’m making a hump mold from a plastic bowl that I like the shape of. I had to modify it slightly as I wanted the mold to have a curved base and so I used an existing piece of bisqued clay ( from a broken mold that I had in my studio) to do this. In this case I’m using a 3d printed master mold, but the master mold can be made out of anything, commonly plaster.
