a path in the middle of a grassy area with rocks and grass on both sides

A week of good weather in Scotland in April was such a gift. One that gave us plenty of opportunity for some great hill walking around the Loch Lomond and Arrochar areas just north of Glasgow. We started off with a mountain that was once a Munro (A Scottish mountain that is over 3,000 foot / 917 m) but it was demoted when more accurate surveys found it to be just short of the magic number. That doesn’t mean Beinn an Lochain is an easy walk

Throwing it back to the legendary trip to the Old Man of Storr in October 2022. The weather was not in our favor, and the camera gear took a beating. Despite the challenges during this hike, it remains one of my favourite adventures in recent years 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Places to Visit in Scotland | Scottish Weather | Things To Do In Scotland | What To See In Scotland | Scotland Travels | Scotland Guide | Visit Scotland | Scottish Highlands | Best places in Scotland | Hiking in Scotland | The Old…

a white poster with the names and numbers of different types of mountains in black on it

This tick-off “Munro Bagging” poster is a perfect way to keep a tally of the mountains you have climbed. It is a large matt A1 high-quality print displaying gorgeous minimalistic outlines of all 282 Munro mountains including their names in alphabetical order and their height in meters, accompanied by wee tick-off boxes- allowing for recording each “bagged” Munro.
