This is what the Windsor Ruins looked like before the fire. A Civil War soldier that camped here drew the only picture that exists of the original house. It burned down because a guest that was told not to smoke in the house went upstairs out of sight. There were renovations being done and he dropped a cigarette into some rubble from the construction.
