Now

It’s a new year!

The fall and start of winter remain a blur of travel and projects: we spent November in Mexico, then returned home (to snow!) and Christmas preparations. From there it was headlong into a week were young L. was off on a school trip to Ottawa, our main bathroom underwent a substantial renovation, and we moved in with my mother for a week while my carer brother and sister-in-law took a well-deserved vacation south.

The whirlwind has subsided now, and we’re catching our breath. We’re looking to reorganize the print shop so that it flows better, are experimenting with using a laser cutter to make better jigs for printmaking, and are starting to think about the summer.

I last updated this February 2, 2026, and have set myself a reminder to update it monthly from here onward.

Having a page like this was suggested here; this is what I’d highlight if I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in a year.
