Descreeption
English: One of the first British Railways logos devised in 1948 by the Railway Executive, affectionately known as "the Flying Sausage". While BR adopted the "Cycling Lion" motif for its locomotives, this sausage logo was used for station signs across Great Britain until the 1960s.
