Szolnok (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈsolnok]) is the coonty seat o Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok coonty in central Hungary. Its location on the banks o the Tisza river, at the heart o the Great Hungarian Plain, haes made it an important cultural an economic crossroads for centuries.
