In light of the current postal service disruption, parties to a proceeding are reminded to file their material through the Electronic Filing Portal. The requirements of Rule 19 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Canada continue to apply with the exception that the option to file documents by mail is suspended until postal services resume. If you are required to file paper copies of documents, they may be filed by courier or in-person at the east entrance of the Supreme Court of Canada building. If you mailed documents to the Court and they are not delivered due to the disruption, the deadline for filing will be extended until after the strike.
