What do you think that is?

If you answer fall foliage, then you are correct.

Say hello to autumn on the way

P.S. I have no idea how that happened,
 a photo published in person.
I had fiddled with settings
on Chrome earlier today.
Sitting on the porch, I find old bookmarks.
I think the sync feature might
have been the problem.

Welcome September!

What a day to start out the month that brings us into the fall season here in Vermont. Rainy and chilly this morning, I wore a quilted vest to my appointment.

Today was my diverticulitis episode CAT-scan follow- up test. Of course the inflammation is long gone from last May (after I took the few antibiotics leftover from a flare-up years ago). It’s over and done with.

I am thrilled I made it without any major anxiety. The autumn weather even feels refreshing. Have you say though, I’d be happier if it was  hot summer day.

For now, a pleasant nap is in order as I only had barely 3 hours sleep last night.

Have a wonderful day!

Ways around a glitch?

First, humbly I say, that I can miss things I read. Second, when I ask Google how to add cookies, I know that the answer I receive on how to delete cookies, is the wrong answer. I have gone through many tabs, links and instructions to learn how to stop Google from blocking access to my photos on Blogspot.

Note, there is an URL option to add photos to a Blogspot post. I got a URL from an Internet photo host. It is rejected, can’t access notice.

My solution is to join a different photo host. I trust Photobucket, easy to use and has a good upgrade price plan.

The add photos here by URL, where a box is given to paste the URL, Does Not Work, even with a known snd trusted URL.

I can link to a photo in the html option. To post a photo here is blocked by Google.

I apologize for going on about this issue.

My problem is that changes making being online difficult, bothers me. Years, no problem turning into hassle after hassle tells me that there is something that Google or iPhone wants or has to have that’s just tough for me.

Learning the URL option is also blocked is the enough is enough finish line. I will keep searching for the answer to why.

Meanwhile, I just have to rev up the electricity to my laptop.

Opera browser has clear easy to read instructions
on cookies. I see the photo as I type.
It should publish as well.

I see that photo in the typing box. I know it is possible for it to post here via copy & paste.

Update: As feared, after posting a photo, the next sign in  returns to blocking. Even signed in to Opera and cookies allowed, Google blocks/ can’t access my photos, to publish photos here.

Week 35, Day 241 August 2026

Here we go again with the end of another lovely 2026 month.

Time, I say for me, did not fly by. This last week (werk as the keyboard prefers), coping with anxiety, the days went by very slow. A sloth could have won a race if there was a race.

Living with anxiety: Part 2 will be next week starting over on Tuesday. This post is a filler of sorts.

I managed to do errands yesterday. It felt strange after being in a sofa tunnel for a few days, like out of the dark and into the light.

There was an almost session that arose. I almost went to the place I want to visit. I almost did a walk-in for a hair cut. I almost went into the grocery store instead of the McD drive thru. I almost visited the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail. I almost went to Home Depot to look at vacuums. I almost ordered a chocolate shake.

Part 1: Living with acute anxiety

There is a place I want to go to. I had a late start getting ready that caused me to miss the time I planned on. I’m not happy about that because I want to go there during the morning hours.

So, despite the late start, I got ready anyway. And that is where I have been for going on three hours, sitting here waiting just in case the anxiety decreases enough for me to get out the door.

A new issue enters the scene. I am hungry. I haven’t eaten anything today. I had a half cup of coffee. When I am going to be out and about, I limit eating (except for maybe crackers). Today I planned to have a small meal where I was going.

Eating stimulates the digestive system. With anxiety, if I have a hint of a cramp or uneasy digestion issue, an anxiety attack will pop up or start building in intensity until I turn around and go home.

This is what I have to deal with when I want to go anywhere special, even as simple as sitting outdoors to paint.

I’m also not happy I have on my favorite outfit. I’ll have to find something else to wear or do laundry. 😕

To be continued…tomorrow is today. I’m not going anywhere so I can rest and feel better about tomorrow. Another tomorrow turns into today. Feeling better.
