This album brought Colin's signature sound, but to me, more intense and dramatic! I love how he manages to build upon an already established sound, and still making feel new fresh. "In the Clinches" caught my attention the most with it's many intense sounds!

Absolutely adore this album. I can feel the presence of the sea while being nowhere near the sea. I lack the words to adequately describe it, but the music feels sort of alive and serene/calm. It grounds me. I listened to it even more often after my grandpa died and felt less overwhelmed while navigating my emotions.
