S.G. Karam writes electric heist fantasy with loyal crews, complex villains, and social justice. His debut novel By Hook & Crook was a BBNYA 2025 finalist (15th of 240+ entries), earned a Kirkus "Get It" verdict, and received multiple 5-star reviews from Readers' Favorite. The sequel, Thiefcatcher, continues the Kings of Copper trilogy.

By day, Steve draws on 25+ years in enterprise technology, including stints at Oracle, where he became one of the first Oracle Certified Masters worldwide. By night, he's been devouring fantasy since discovering Dragonlance and Myth Adventures as a kid, a habit that evolved through Jordan, Tolkien, Sanderson, and Martin.

When not plotting capers, he tinkers with guitars, roasts coffee, rides motorcycles, and runs I'll Go Too, a nonprofit supporting disability causes. He lives in Virginia with his family and an ever-growing collection of projects.
