Old Letters from Bolton and Liverpool

OLD LETTERS These old letters are from somewhere in my family but we do not know anything about them. I have no idea who most of the people are. My family is from Bolton but quite a number of the letters seem to be from around Burnley and Skipton. One also mentions Liverpool. Names VARLEY, MAXFIELD, KAY, BUTLER Please leave any suggestions in the comments.
