Foxglove gets it name because the flower is like the finger of a glove, in Latin it is Digitalis Purpurea! These are biennial, meaning they flower on their 2nd year of life and that is the end for them. Foxglove are incredibly toxic and should not be eaten. When I go to the garden I find a peaceful place - just me, my camera and the flowers. The garden had a wide variety of foxglove this year and I thought it was particularly beautiful. Thank you for your comments and faves – they are greatly appreciated!
