The head of the Southern Oceans Seabird Study Association, Lindsay Smith was honoured with an Order of Australia medal for his lifelong work on the longest continual study of the Wandering Albatross at sea in the world. This picture really gives people an idea how big albatrosses really are compared to humans and so few people get to see them up close.
