claude.ai finds the SkillMe tools reliably

claude.ai loads connector tools lazily and matches them by name and description — and sometimes missed SkillMe’s at the start of a chat. Every tool description is rewritten so that search lands on them reliably, whether you say “skills”, “install”, “browse the catalog”, or just describe the task. If a chat still starts without them, the connect page has a new FAQ with the one-line fix: tell Claude to “search your tools for skillme”, or toggle the connector once.

• Your installed skills load at session start as before — this makes the tools themselves easier for Claude to discover mid-chat.

Sessions start fast at any library size — and claude.ai setup is one click

Skill Me used to load every installed skill in full at the start of each conversation — with a big library that meant a huge payload before your first reply. Now large libraries load as a compact index of names and triggers, and your AI fetches a skill’s full instructions the moment a task matches them, using the new load_skill tool. Small libraries still load in full, instantly.

• Session start stays lean no matter how many skills you install; full instructions arrive on demand exactly when a task needs them.
• Every install now ends with a ready-to-run “Try it now” example, so a fresh skill proves itself in the same conversation.
• One-click “Add to claude.ai” on the connect page opens the Add-custom-connector dialog directly — copy-paste stays right beside it as the fallback.

1,600+ skills upgraded from summaries to their full instructions

About two-thirds of the catalog previously carried a short discovery summary instead of the skill’s real instructions — installing one loaded no actual capability. We fetched the genuine SKILL.md from each skill’s source: 1,636 skills now install with their complete upstream content. The handful whose sources have moved are clearly labeled “summary only” in search, recommendations, and install responses, and full skills always rank above summary-only entries of equal relevance.

A complete creative stack for software companies: eight new in-house packs, 58 skills (53 newly authored), each an operating procedure with real thresholds rather than tips. One MCP endpoint now serves six clients: claude.ai, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, and Google Antigravity. Your library follows you across all of them.

Connector sign-in moved to OAuth — libraries now persist

The MCP connector now signs you in with a proper OAuth flow instead of throwaway per-connection sessions. Your installed skills survive reconnects, and the same library follows you across every client.

• Existing connectors were prompted once to reconnect and sign in (or continue with a persistent anonymous library).
• Visiting the MCP endpoint in a browser now explains what it is and how to connect, instead of a bare error.
