How to crochet a simple and easy headband?

Hope all are doing well and good.  I love headbands.  But during my childhood I rarely wear headbands.  Recently I have started to crochet hair accessories and fell in love with it.

Previously I crocheted two headbands using a pattern from the internet.  This time I have tried using the simple double crochet stitches and attached a flower to it.  Simple, neat and elegant headband was ready. 

This headband has been crocheted for a 1 year old.  So I made the rows of dc till it measures 15 inches.  Otherwise you can measure the circumference of the head and make it 2 inches lesser to fit the head perfectly.

For this project I use 4 ply yarn and 3.5mm hook. 

Headband Pattern:

chain 8

Row 1:

Dc in  2nd ch from hook
Dc in remaining chains.
Ch 2 Turn.

Row 2 - 37:

Dc in each dc across, ch 2, turn .
 
Join 1st and last row using slip stitches.

Flower

Ch 5, Join with Sl st to 1st chain.

Inside ch 5, 

(Ch 3, 3dc, Ch 3, Sl st) 5 times

Fasten off. 

I  am trying to make more using simple stitches and will show it soon.  I am working on a simple embroidery design.  Tomorrow I will be back with that.  Till then, have a nice time with your needle and thread.

Crochet Headbands for toddlers

 Hi all

Hope all are doing great.  I love crocheting and when it comes to crocheting something for the kids I absolutely love doing it.  After starting my online store I started doing more of kids accessories and yesterday I have crocheted two headbands.   These headbands fits 1-2 year old toddlers.  I have adapted the pattern from here.  I have also added a popcorn flower with a button.

These headbands can be adjusted.  I have added two buttons to make the adjustment.

In this picture you can see the two buttons at one end and a loop at the other to hold the buttons in place.  Two rounds of popcorn stitch flowers are done. 

I have used 4-ply acrylic yarn purchased from Pradhan Embroidery stores.  I will be making more headbands with different patterns.  I have started to figure out my own pattern for the headband and soon will come up with one.

Mom n daughter combo hair accessories

 Hi all 

Hope all are staying safe and doing good.  Today I am very happy to introduce my own mom n daughter combo crochet hair accessories.  From the day I start to crochet I always try to crochet something for kids.  One of my dream is  to crochet a hair wreath.  And it came true yesterday.  

I am presenting to you my handmade hair wreath or headband.

Then a second thought came, why can't we do it as a Mom n Daughter combo and the following two accesories came into existence.  A hair band for mom and hair clips for daughter.
