The 52 books spanning over 6000 pages might seem intimidating, but Sharath's conversational writing style makes you feel good. The Mahabharata Character Guides Omnibus became my favorite section as it helped me understand the complex motivations behind each character's actions. Definitely worth reading. I generally don't like crime fiction all that much, but this one kept me reading through the day. Something about the Malgudi-like atmosphere that is present in Amaravati. I like Krishna Shastri, but identify more with Venkat Reddy. Lovely little story.Definitely worth reading.
