I stood in a room with my eyes closed and palms facing outwards when I heard this live. Nothing else really matters in this reality, just blips of time going and gone and beeps of static. Melodies overlapping and melodic hums take me somewhere else for just a moment <3 Alyssa Seven

The Tubs are masters of one of my favorite kinds of song: catchy chorus with absolute downer lyrics, especially ones that focus on how much of a loser the singer is. This album adds more depths of sadness than their previous effort, as this focuses on the trauma that was left in the wake of the suicide of the singer's mother. Yet, it's still somehow very catchy and enjoyable. I can picture shouting along with many of these choruses in a pub somewhere. Ben
Terrific jangle pop with an edge, somewhere between Television Personalities and R.E.M. with a bit of Kinks in there, too. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 2, 2023

i bought this album because the other option was paying for youtube premium and this is clearly the better option -- my only regret is i forgot to wait until Bandcamp Friday, but i guess it just couldn't wait. listening to this album is URGENT izZzak
