The Utah teapot, a computer graphics model by Martin Newell

Martin Edward Newell is a British-born computer scientist who created the Utah teapot computer graphics model. He was graduated from University of Utah in 1975, and together with Tom Sancha developed Newell's algorithm, a technique for eliminating cyclic dependencies during polygon ordering in a computer graphics system.
